• Hunger is not just a technical issue. It is a result of land dispossession, climate shocks, and economic exclusion. In fact, the Right to Food and No to Hunger is a human Rights issue!

  • South Africa is one of the most unequal countries in the world. Naming hunger is not optional, it is urgent.

  • Land access is not just a development issue, it is central to economic growth and a frontline struggle against hunger. When foreign investors are allowed to grab land under the guise of capitalist growth, local communities and small scale producers struggle to feed themselves and go hungry.
