Livestock Seminar 2024: On 14 November 2024, the TCOE hosted a major seminar on sustainable livestock farming and agroecology. The Livestock Owners Seminar marked an important step towards fostering sustainable and equitable livestock farming.

Mowbray Market Images: Every month, agroecology small-scale farmers, local food producers and artisans showcase their produce and products at the Mowbray Market in Cape Town.

RWA Seed Policy Workshop: Women are concerned about the state of seed policy upon the African continent. During the “Guardians of Seed, Land and Life” exhibition at the Koena Art Institute – Castle of Good Hope, the TCOE and Southern Africa Rural Women’s Assembly facilitated a workshop to discuss advocacy efforts to protect our land, water and food systems.

World Food Day 2024: The TCOE partnered with local collectives and communities for a World Food Day open marker and program at Die Welf in Genadendal to raise awareness around agroecology and foster respect for nature.

Seed Exhibition Launch 2024: The Trust for Community Outreach and Education (TCOE) and the Southern African Rural Women’s Assembly launched the exhibition “Guardians of Seed, Land, and Life” at the historic Castle of Good Hope in November 2024.
